It measures 12x7.5x6” and may be hung using a cord or metal hook (not included). It can also be simply left on a ledge, rock, or deck if preferred. NOTE: there is no loop="loop" to secure the slide latch that closes the top. I added a zip tie that did the trick for us. We usually just left it on a rock in the yard that had lots of shade to avoid fading.
