Even when the backpack is fully loaded, additional equipment or stowage can still be stored in the stretchy compartment. While the interior is protected from moisture, the spandex layer allows a wet jacket to dry off, for example.FABRIC & 3D MOLDED PADDING - Our custom-made Diamond Rip-Stop Melange and our DYECOSHELL are extra long-lasting nylon fabrics. The back and shoulder strap padding is based on our signature pattern. It is made of a 3D molded EVA foam. The 3D pattern reduces the contact area between you and the pack.
